Master Kasper Magnussen was asked by Christiana as he was the original steward of Phasiani lacus Manerium when it was in formation with another organization of medieval anachronism. Kasper accepted the new position June 15th 2011, after a friendly phone call to him by Christiana. Welcome back to Phasiani lacus Manerium positions, and we of the Phasiani lacus Manerium give you three cheers of Huzzah and a hardy welcome back.

It is not neccessary for members to have heraldry, but does add that bing to an event. For those that have heraldry register with the Adrain Empire, the description and possible image will be shown under the member's name. Description will be provided beside the member's name. If you do not have a heraldic device or and flag, you may choose to fly a single solid color banner with no elements on the the banner.

Greeting unto ye household members

It will soon be that time of the year to renew memberships within the Adrian Empire. Membership fees help to support and maintain the Adrian Empire which in turn helps the arch duchy of Connacht and also helps in supporting the estates status within the Arch Duchy of Connacht. Fees are 30.00 and are due June 30th 2013 for the 2013, 14 season. Better yet while the Can dollar is near par, a lifetime membership, that is only 10 x 30.00 assuming membership fees stay the same. Please either see My Lady Christiana prior to June 6th 2012, or if you wish you may send it directly to Adrian Empire, but please forward a copy of your membership to Mistress Christiana is you are a member of this interest group.

Lifetime members, waviers will be require, if one has change their status in address and contact information to Mistress Christiana and please do not forget to inform the Arch Duchy of Connacht and of course the membership roster (Adrian Empire). My Lady Christiana Elizabeth Constable

As of December 10th 2011 by decision of their graces Mistress Christiana who joined April of 2011 and was officially recoginized as a life member in Adria July 2011 due to mail strike problems that delayed her application. Christiana interest lays in many fields of the arts and sciences from costuming, to needlework, woodworking skills - mainly in cabinetry, and wood spinning, fibre arts, and the culinary arts. She also involved with target archery, combat archery, and has quailified under the Connacht duke in Shini and rapier - dagger as of mid October 2011. Mistress Christiana teaches seminars on needlework, and costuming, and has sat up the "vestiarium Guild" (Costuming) - by approval of their graces of Connacht and is acting as the "magister Guild (Guild Master) as of Jan 2012. Mistress Christiana can be found at most events that take place in Connacht within British Columbia partaking in arts and science challenges, archery, and even combat. Mistress Christiana is the Magister Guild of the "investiarium Guild" accomplished as a "magister sartor." Mistress Christiana is also a member of the "Woodcarvers Guild, and acts as the webmister to the "Woodcarvers Guild."

As of August 2012, Christiana Elizabeth Constable by their graces of the Arch Duchy of Connacht was kindly asked to take the position of Education Minister for the Arch Duchy of Connacht and has taken the oath on September 1st in royal court at the Imperial Wars to be the Education Minister of the Arch Duchy of Connacht.

Master Kasper Magnessun

A life time member of Adria since his application was sent in by snail mail October 31, 2011. His interest lays in wood carving and methods of woodworking skills of the old ages with hand tools and methods. Usually visits the Okanagan Valley when the North winds of the Snow Gods are more gentle. Attends events mainly during the late spring to early fall. If one wishes to learn the skill of woodcarving Master Kasper will lend his experience and helping hand in learning this old world skill. Master Kasper is the founder and Guild Master of the Woodcarvers Guild approved November of 2011 by their graces of Connacht. Besides woodcarving he also makes lutes, and on occassion will sing and play the lute. Master Kasper is interested in target archery as well, and can occassionally be found on the archery range participating in target archery.

Below is a list of distances both mileage and in kilometers to help in determining cost and time. As more events happen this listing will be expanded to include the distances to future events. Since most of the events that Phasiani lacus Manerium attends is within the valley, these distances have been listed. Usually when an event occurs within the 60 mile (100 km) radius of Summerland, most of Phasiani lacus Manerium's members will usually attend. For events further away, it depends on the cost of gasoline and mundane reasons that will dictate if members of Phasiani lacus Manerium willattending the event. This also includes demos. Please check Phasiani lacus Manerium - events attending listed below for events that members of Phasiani lacus Manerium will be attending. These are usually updated at least one a month with a report of the activity of the event.

Distances to sites and locations of events from Summerland

Summerland to Christiana's residence (12 km) 7.5 miles from corner of Rosedale and Prairie Valley Road
Summerland to Clinton 203 miles approx (324 km) 5.5 hour drive. This distance is taken from Vernon through Kamloops to Cash Creek. There are other ways to get there as well, and may be shorter in distance, but there happens to be two long grades that do cost on fuel. The first is the grade through from Peachland to Merritt via the Okanagan Connector, and the second is either via Ashcroft, or Merritt to Kamloops.
Summerland to Emberby (Wolfgang Tournament) 80 miles (127 km) 3.5 hours
Summerland to Grand Forks: 122 miles (196 km) 3.5 hours. The distance is taken over the Antichrist. Note this pass starts at about 850 ft elevation and rises in one climb to about 4250 ft elevation over a distance of roughly 15 k. There is another way around this pass and that is going up from Oliver to Mt Baldy than back to hwy 3. The grade is not as steep and is paved, however, once at the top, the road turns to gravel, and runs about 17 k before connecting with 3. If going by hwy 33, the distance add 70k to the distance via hwy 3. There is no hard grades to climb on hwy 33 route.
Summerland to Kamloops: 129 miles (215 km) 3.5 hours via Vernon. It is possible to cut 3/4 hour off travel time by going through via the Okanagan Connector, however it does have a long steady grade out of Peachland and another going Merritt to Kamloops
Summerland to Kelowna: 31 miles (52 km) 1 hour travel time
Summerland to Keremeos: 33 miles (49 km) approx 1 hour travel time (Construction on 3A): there is a grade from Kalden to Twin lakes going west that is steep and long.
Summerland to Lumby 80 miles (133 km) 4 hours, Easy driving but lots of speed traps,
Summerland to Merritt, 80 miles via the Okanagan Connector. Please note that there is a high elevation pass to cross over, and is subject to snow and ice conditions from October thru to early May. Winter conditions for events and demos during this period must be observed. Note make sure your vehicle is filled before attenting travel to Merritt. One service stations on route , not open all the time.
Summerland to Merritt: 82 miles (132 km) 1.5 hours. Steady climb out of Peachland on the Oakangan Connector. Early Fall to late Spring suggest to snow and ice
Summerland to Oliver: 34 miles (55 km) 1.75 hours - speed traps and slow speed highway
Summerland to Oyama: 50 miles (80 km) 1.75 hours travel. Slow speed zones and lots of traffic control lights through W. Kelowna to Winfield
Summerland to Peachland: 16 miles (26 km) 20 minutes - most 4 lane highway, and one speed trap - Deep creek
Summerland to Rockcreek - via hwy 3: 76 miles (122 km)
Summerland to Surrey - Vancouver 264 K. Note either Okanagan connector or via Hwy 3A - 3. Check on conditions of road before traveling as high passes are involved in travel. Make sure that vehicle is equiped for winter travel between October thru to early May.
Summerland to Vancouver: 247 miles (396 km)
Summerland to Vernon: 60 miles (100 km) 2 hours. Slow speed zones from W. Kelowna to Oyama.
Summerland to Westbank (West Kelowna): 18 miles (29 km) 35 minutes

Phasiani lacus Manerium - round table and meets

Phasiani lacus Manerium has roundtable activities which include costuming, woodcrafts, and the culinary arts. Round table meets happen at noon on the First and Third Sundays of the month at Christiana's residence. All members of Phasiani lacus Manerium are welcome to attend, and members of Connacht are also welcome to attend. For directions to site contact Christiana Elizabeth Constable.

Once every three months usually the first and third Sunday we of Phasiani lacus Manerium will meet, and have a round table dissussion on the direction that Phasiani lacus Manerium may take. These include events and demos that we of Phasiani lacus Manerium may attend as a group, purchases for Phasiani lacus Manerium - ie cater dinner supplies, and other topics that may arrise. Meets will be 1 hour prior to round table activities as listed above. Members of Phasiani lacus are encourage to attend. If a round table lands on a demo or event the round table may occur at the event and or demo but may also be cancelled if not enough attend.

Mistress Christiana Elizabeth Constable - Summerland, British Columbia - available to instruct at events and demos mainly in the Okanagan Valley. Phasiani lacus manerium Practices

Members of Phasiani lacus Manerium general round table disussion - This will be occur on the 3 rd Sunday of every third month beginning at 11:00AM. These meetings are for direction as needed for steering Phasiani lacus Manerium for private events, events and demos attending and round table. Duration is 1 hour
Phasiani lacus Manerium target archery practice - meets at 10:00 AM the 1st and 3 rd Sunday, beginning the first Sunday of April pending weather. If practice lands on an event or demo day, or bad weather, the practice will be cancel. Archery range closes the first weekend of November.
The Woodcarvers Guild - meets when Guild Master - Master Kasper sets a schedule up. Most activities for the guild will be happening from Spring to Fall and may occur at events and demos. Currently an on line intruction web blog is been constructed and can be accessed via the Woodcarvers Guild Web blog.
vestiarium Guild - meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday of month at noon and last about 4 hours. Meet may be cancelled if a demo or event is happening on the same day. Please note if demo is on this day, it is recommended to bring needlework to the demo for a demostration of the skill. There is a web blog constructed for the "vestairuim Guild" with Lady Christiana acting as "magister Guild."
